I met Vicky at University and was immediately struck by her confidence and self-assuredness. We became friends because of a love of the same music and enjoyed many nights at the indie discos of Leeds, then later at Stay Beautiful in London. I have fond memories of mixing cocktails at Vicky's hen do in London and her brilliant wedding party. Vicky and James also kindly put me up one year when I had to attend Leeds festival straight after a long business trip. Their hospitality and kindness to a very tired person was so appreciated. We were thrilled that they could attend our wedding party in 2017 and of course they were there right until the end - burning up the dancefloor. When Vicky and James came to London last year it was so lovely to have lunch with them and catch up. It was a gift that I got to see Vicky one last time  To me, Vicky was a person who was always thinking of others, I always found her to be kind and generous but not one to put up with any nonsense! When I think about her I remember her on the dancefloor, smiling and just being so much fun to be around.
